Black’s Barbecue has been a family operated and owned restaurant for 84 years! We began serving up delicious BBQ in the Barbecue Capital of Texas, Lockhart, before expanding into Austin and now San Marcos. Although we’ve kept our barbecue traditionally great tasting, we added new aspects to our Black’s Barbecue in San Marcos, TX.

First, we saw that San Marcos enjoyed live music from Austin, the Live Music Capital. So what did we do? We brought in musicians on different nights each week. That way our music lovers can enjoy unique performers with their BBQ in San Marcos. Our live music nights kept us up later into the night. So, instead of shutting down the party early, Black’s extended their hours. Enjoy great BBQ and live music until 10PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 8PM the rest of the week.

Then, once we realized how much San Marcos loved to get together and celebrate with BBQ, we added a catering option as well. Now you and your friends can enjoy delicious San Marcos BBQ anywhere!
