Austin Food Magazine Spotlights Black's BBQ's New Austin Location
Austin Food Magazine covered Black's BBQ's announcement of a new Austin location at 409 W. 30th Street, the former home of Trudy's Texas Star. The new space will approximately double our current Austin dining footprint and is planned as a family-friendly operation with meat smokers on location, a children's play area, and a full liquor license. Renovations are underway with a rough two-year timeline.

Austin Food Magazine is talking about what's coming next for Black's BBQ in Austin, and we could not be more excited to share it.
Writer Hayden Walker covered our plans to open a new location at 409 W. 30th Street, the space Trudy's Texas Star called home for decades. The building has been quiet for a while, and we are glad to be the ones bringing it back to life.
Our current Austin location at 3110 Guadalupe St. will stay open throughout, with hours running 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and extended hours on weekends.
We have been cooking in Texas since 1932. We are looking forward to doing it from a bigger kitchen in Austin.
