Black's BBQ Featured in Bon Appétit Magazine

Barrett Black, fourth-generation pitmaster at The Original Black's BBQ, was recently featured in Bon Appétit magazine, sharing his expertise on one of the most overlooked parts of backyard cooking: keeping your grill clean.

In the piece, titled "How to Clean Your Grill and Make Sure It's Always Ready for Action," writer Francesca Krempa turned to Barrett for advice on building a cleaning routine that actually works.

His approach is straightforward: "Cleaning should be a habit, not a chore. Something you do at the end so the next cook is easy. It's about controlling flavor. If your grill is dirty, you're not tasting your food, you're tasting your last mistake."

Barrett's tips cover everything from choosing the right scrubber to when to clean hot versus cold, and why good habits matter more than expensive equipment.
