New Braunfels brought the flavor and the fun this past April as the Hill Country Craft Beer Festival returned to the Wurstfest grounds for another packed-out celebration. With more than 35 Texas breweries pouring over 140 unique craft beers, the event offered a diverse selection, ranging from crisp lagers to bold stouts and everything in between.

Black's BBQ, the presenting sponsor, made a big impression, serving up their legendary smoked meats that paired perfectly with local pours. Their presence added a bold Texas flavor to the festival. Nothing beats brisket with a cold IPA.

Attendees also enjoyed live music from fan-favorite acts, including Two Tons of Steel and the VHS 90s Party Band, as well as the competitive energy of the steinholding contest, which doubled as the Texas State qualifier.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of New Braunfels, the festival didn't just fill glasses. It helped fund youth-focused nonprofits in the area, including the Mill Street Youth Center.

If you missed it, keep an eye out for next year's event. This isn't just a beer fest. It's a community tradition worth attending.
